What’s the best way to apply sunscreen?Generally try to use about an ounce of sunscreen at least half an hour before exposure to sunlight.
Don’t forget to apply to your lips, ears, backs of hands, and nose.
Reapply sunscreen every couple of hours!
Sunscreen is okay to use for about 3 years as long as it is stored in a cool, dry place.
Other ways to protect yourself from the sun
Wear protective clothing such as UV-blocking sunglasses and hats.
Avoid spending time in the sun during “peak hours” from about 10 AM to 4 PM
Avoid tanning beds!
